Awakening to your Akashic Records - we are all awakening

I have become aware that there is a large (and growing) community of highly sensitive people, intuitive people, psychic people, energy workers, lightworkers, grid-workers, mediums and Akashic Records practitioners in the world, all of whom are studying and growing in similar ways to myself.

One teacher alone that I have studied with, has over 2,000 students who are working with their Akashic Records, and working with clients!  Just imagine that level of spiritual change out in the world.

Akashic Communities are growing

What if we got all the Akashic Readers on the planet together for regular summits, it would be (as you will see for yourself if you keep reading) a much more powerful energetic agent for change than the G7 summit (don’t get me started…).

My top 5 ways to get started with your Akashic Records Work

Are you interested in learning more about the Akashic Records, but don't know where to start?

As someone who has been on the spiritual journey for a while, I know how overwhelming it can be to start the journey and decide on a direction.

Perhaps you started the journey because you lost a loved one, left a relationship or just have a sense that there is more to life than your present experience.

I can check all of the above, and more, and I spent years ignoring or stuffing energetic signals, sensory information and intuitive hits that I felt really uncomfortable about -- since no-one else appeared to be having them!

Truth is, many of us are on the awakening path now and connecting with the spiritual phenomenon that is the Akashic Records is a really great place to start.

I know this because I wandered along many other paths before getting to this point, and the Akashic work has been the most rewarding spiritual work of all for me, and the way to get all my niggling questions answered.

My top 5 ways to get started with your Akashic Records Work

1.  Find a good book about the Akashic Records Work.  There are many out there, I recommend How to Read the Akashic Records: Accessing the Archive of the Soul and Its Journey, and Science and the Akashic Field: An Integral Theory of Everything.

The first is a more esoteric approach and starts you on the road to personal spiritual practice within the Akashic Records, the second is more science-based but also is great for setting the big picture, so one or the other should appeal to most readers.

2. Get a good Akashic Records Reading.  I have a lot of people who ask me 'What exactly ARE the Akashic Records?'.  Of course, you may say I am a Reader myself, so I would say that.  Yet it's also my experience that the best way to know a thing fully is to embody it, to do it. 

So if you are really ready, then a good Akashic Records Reading will give you a mind body and spirit 'feel' for what is out there. 

A good reading should be relevant, have an energetic feel to it, and answer at least one question that has been bugging you for a while.

3.  Consider the direction you wish to head in for your particular spiritual journey. What is happening for you, and why?

Are you having an opening to energy, such as chakra work, a sense of spirit or other energies around you?

Or -- perhaps you have a health challenge, life situation or circumstance that is keeping you stuck and feeling like you lack progress.

Or even -- that you are having spontaneous openings to unusual experiences, and want to know more. 

Any of these three situations are really good reasons to start your Akashic work and begin to move forward.

Many people have these experiences but don't understand how to put them in the context of their personal journey. 

So, in context, having an opening to energy could mean it is time to start learning an energy work modality or share your insights with other family members or friends for a healing experience.

Perhaps you are experiencing a health challenge to find out big answers for yourself or others.  You could be the next person to help change your life and someone else's for the better!

It's even possible that you are having unusual experiences because you are ready to become a practitioner in a new field or build a new community to help us evolve.   In my experience to date, these questions can be answered more clearly by learning to understand yourself through the framework of your Akashic Records.

4.  Start keeping a journal and write down what you know to be true for you as a result of spiritual study. Take classes too if you can.

They don't call it a journey for nothing!! 

I've attended many classes and workshops over the last 20 years, and for me, working in the Akashic Records has been, and continues to be, an opportunity to join the dots and answer all my 'why' questions.

So work on an area of personal development that is coming up for you.  I started by learning Neuro-Linguistic Programming(TM) and Accelerated Learning Theory. 

Initially, I thought this was because I would be using these skills for work, which I did. 

Yet also the work I did then has contributed to my spiritual path, encouraging me to think more deeply about the language I use and the approaches I take in daily life.  Now I use both skill sets to help clients grow when I give Akashic Records Readings.

5. Join groups of like-mind people, and encourage each other to grow on the path.  Soon, questions will begin to be answered and your clarity will expand.

It's been my experience on the journey that we are drawn to teach what we most need to learn.

For example, I was drawn to learn energy work because I am so energetically sensitive and was always taking on other's energy and not setting good boundaries.

Life Coaches will tell you that whenever they have an issue or circumstance come up, they will be presented with new clients who are experiencing the exact same issue or circumstance.  In coaching, they call it the 'mirror' effect and it's a known phenomenon.

So consider that what you are drawn to learn is what YOU most need to know.

A new way to look at DNA from the spiritual perspective

Physical and Spiritual DNA - what are the differences?

For a while now I have been meditating on this question.

What is the difference between our physical DNA and its' expression, and the DNA from Past Lives that may influence our present through our Akashic Records?

Here is what I have learned so far.

Physical DNA

When we are incarnated into bodies, we respond to the expression of our genes, inherited from our physical ancestors.

Through something called DNA tagging, it has been established through scientific research that we may have DNA memories active from up to 14 generations of ancestors.  (Source, Dirty Genes Summit, Dr Ben Lynch).

How this manifests depends upon the individual.  At a very simple level, scientists notice that through studies of a rabbit warren, younger generations of rabbits remembered the location of a snare and avoided a particular run for 5 years, even though the snare had been removed.

Watership Down in action!

Perhaps you are wondering what memories are active for you from your ancestors?  Sometimes these can manifest as memories, talents, gifts or abilities.  For example, I seem to be a very adept knitter, without really having to teach myself much.  My mother loved to knit, too.

Knowing our gene expression and learning more about our mutated genes can also be very helpful for health.

Recently I discovered through genetic testing that I have a 50% chance of developing celiac's disease through my specific gene expression (allergy to gluten and all its' derivatives).  I can confirm this since during the last few years I have been unable to tolerate gluten well in my diet.

Spiritual DNA

Think of our DNA from Past Lives as an electromagnetic field we have access to, an energetic summary of all of our learnings, traits, genetic expressions, and abilities.

So through spiritual techniques such as the Akashic Records work, we can learn about our past experiences through a direct energetic connection with our DNA.  This (my Akashic Guides are popping to say) is one reason why an Akashic Records Reading can be such a powerful experience and resource.

It can often feel to clients as if they are reliving a life, circumstance or experience, either through Past Life memories or during this life when they get stuck in what I call the Akashic Spin Cycle.

A  karmic repetition of events that seems to just cycle around and around, never getting clean of the suds!

Cleaning up genetic expression at the physical level

To do this, through the science of epigenetics, we can get tested and then see a functional MD (Naturopath) who may help us with diet and specific supplements to rebalance dirty gene expression.  This is a journey I am just beginning myself.

Cleaning up genetic expression at the spiritual level?

This, in my experience, is where working with our Akashic Records can be so useful.  Becoming aware of our Akashic History (for example with a Soul Star Reading) can enable us to do Soul-Level housework, clearing out old patterns and connections that no longer serve us, so that we can move on and create new and fresh experiences based on the wisdom of the past, rather than being mired and enmeshed in the past, creating it over and over from a position of unawareness.

This is evolution, in my experience.

The Stargate

Do you like the picture of my Stargate?  It has been designed from a number of different forms of sacred geometry by a man called Prageet Harris.

I have started used my personal Stargate during energy sessions and readings (even took it with me secretly to the dentist the other day!).

The Stargate is an interdimensional doorway to help us magnify energies.  I have started to use it during Akashic Readings and clients are experiencing interesting results.

Reading the future in the Akashic Records - future posts, part II

Have you ever tried to predict the future, or had it done for you, and it’s been accurate?

If yes, then I’m sure it’s also true that you’ve had experiences of the same that have been totally inaccurate!

So is it possible to predict the future?

After many years of spiritual study, I would say – in some cases yes, in others, no.

Doesn’t that sound like what I said at the beginning?

Yes, you are correct. This is not intended to confuse you, but to give you an energetic sense of the changing nature of the future.

But here is what I have learned from embodying the energy of the future and how it can help us in the now.

What is true of the future energetically?

1. It doesn’t exist (yet)

2. We can create it

3. Others can influence it through free will

4. We are bound energetically by our present and past life energy unless we choose to release or clear blocks and restrictions

5. What we intend for our future steers us in that direction, consciously and unconsciously

6. We can change course and chart a new direction at any time

7. We can work with our Personal Energy to manifest our intended future.

Since this is the Akashic Messages blog...I thought I would ask my Akashic guides to comment on the nature of the future from the Akashic perspective.

Sarah: What is true of the future energetically?

AGs: We can hold a picture of the future in our minds and intend it, within reason.  

We are incarnated in a 3D human body, so generating the future there causes us restrictions which would not be present outside of the body - yet, that is the journey and the lesson both!

Find a way first of all to see the future as non-threatening.  Whether it is just a beautiful place that you travel in your mind's eye, or a feeling you have, start there.  

Paint a picture of yourself in this location and then ask yourself - what is different about there, from here?

Make a list, and act on it.  Inner Wisdom can be your guide.

Sarah:  How does free will affect our intended futures?

Think of the past and present as solid ground, energetically speaking.  The future is a matrix or lattice of webbing, imagine lasers in a smoky room.  

Do we step this way or that?  When we do, certain energies will be triggered.  

We have the choice to react to them, move away from them or stay neutral and observe.  

Whichever we choose, that is free will in action both by us and by people, circumstances or situations which make up the lattice.

Sarah:  Can we predict the future?

AGs: Yes, and no.  Gather actions, choices, potentials and probabilities and make a bridge.  

Keep heading in that direction and you are predicting your own future by your own actions.

Sarah:  What about people who have very accurate premonitions, (good or bad)?

AGs: Premonitions are guided future visions.  

Guides of all sort present them as pictures, feelings or thoughts for available awareness.  

If you are energetically aware enough, you will notice them.  

Some are time pods that we can walk into through group consciousness in 4D (4th-dimensional reality, realm of thoughts and ideas).  

Highly probable group or individual events contain many gathered or 'knotted' thought forms.

Sometimes a predictive force will intervene, such as an Angel or guide and create an event for people to 'choose'.

Sarah: How best to work with our Akashic Records in achieving our desired future?

AGs: Energy is the key.  There's a song about the future, too...

Do you know where you're going to?

Do you like the things that life is showing you?

Where are you going to?

Do you know?

Do you get what you're hoping for?

When you look behind you there's no open doors

What are you hoping for?

Do you know?

Liking where we are headed is half the battle.  Feeling we are in a friendly universe (we said nothing about friendly or unfriendly humans!) is another plus.  

If we don't like where we are headed, start to course correct.

And you can always ask your Records if you have done this before, in other life, or something similar, and what can be learned from that lesson while we create a new one!"

Predicting the future in the Akashic Records?

Clients will often contact me asking about how their future may turn out.

This is a tradition within readings that dates back through the centuries, when soothsayers would be asked to predict anything from the next bumper crop, a new marriage or love affair, even babies being born.

Sometimes I have received readings which were extremely accurate in predicting future events (my best one was from a Gypsy on Portsmouth pier in the UK).

No kidding, she must be gone now, since she was in her nineties at the time and I was just a 17 year old...but she predicted a huge amount very accurately.  I always wondered how she did it.

Predicting the future for clients

Often I have found that suggestions from clients' Akashic Guides are very clear when some clients come with questions.  Then again, equally as often, they are not.

I'm learning how to work with both situations...since energetically I can only read strong intentions for clients.  Therefore weaker intentions are harder to read and less likely.  Think of both as having a level of energetic resonance.

Since this is the Akashic Messages blog...I thought I'd ask my guides for a little, guidance, here....

Dear Akashic Guides...

Can we predict the future using the Akashic Records?

AGs: The future, as the song goes, is 'a many splendored thing'.  The future is really just a different version of today, with a few energetic changes.  

Tomorrow is slightly different than today, then the next and the next.

(The Reader - Sarah is thinking about the California fires -isn't somebody losing their house facing a completely different future the next day?)

AGs: Well yes, and no.  The belongings may be lost, the earthed connection to a particular place is lost, but the soul's imprint in the body is still in existence, all the connections to relationships with others is still in existence, and we can choose to build exactly the same house with the same energetic resonance as before if it is possible for us.  

The filter or bias of having to do that seems overwhelming, yet we are still on the same energetic 'journey' of existence that we chose before birth.

As to predicting the future, think of the future as if it were a grainy photograph, or a sketched out watercolor painting.  We have some structure, some basic shapes, and colors, but very little detail.

The more we move towards that 'picture' of our future, the more solid it becomes as layer after layer of intention is painted or photographed over it.  Finally, we bring it close enough that we can view it very clearly -- and manifestation is (sometimes) the result!

So we can visualize the future based on our present and our past, but we cannot predict it.  

What about big world events, sometimes psychics seem to be able to predict those?

Yes, psychics can access strong probability fields.  These in some ways are easier to intuit the larger the event.  

It's like saying - tomorrow you will buy a coffee in this location - because you did it today, and yesterday, and the day before, so there is a strong probability you will do it tomorrow, also.  That repetitive action creates a big perceptual field for a psychic or Akashic Reader to pick up.

So bigger events, or more repetitive events, are easier to 'predict'.  Think of it more like 'feeling' the future, parts of present intentions are poking out into the sea of potentials we call the future, molding it to the energy of the intention.

The best way to 'predict' your future -- is to have strong intentions and repeat them, often.  That way you will influence the field.

What is my soul purpose?

What is my Soul Purpose?

When people have a higher-level type of spiritual reading, like an Akashic Records reading which involves a focus on personal growth, one of the most common questions is --

What is my Soul Purpose, (aka) why am I here?

Recently, Neale Donald Walsh (author of Conversations with God) tweeted this

The only True Mission is the mission of the individual soul. Every other mission is an extension of that.

If such a mission is the only true mission, spiritually speaking, how are we supposed to intuit that and achieve our soul purpose?

Message from the Akashic Guides

For this post, I thought I would pose the question to my hard-working Akashic Guides.

S: What is our Soul Purpose?

AGs: As your soul is a thread that travels through many lives, often the purposes seem like multiples.  Complete a lesson in one life, clear karma in the next, work out issues with a soul mate the next time around.

This can fool us into thinking that each life has a separate Soul Purpose.  Think of the Soul Purpose as an ever renewing rose, and the life purposes throughout each life as the petals that fall from that rose.

The petals are beautiful, part of the whole but the rose bush does not need them to survive.  It can make another rose anytime.
What the truth of the rose bush is showing us is that life is ever fragrant and can continually be renewed.  Enjoy the petals before they fall and wither.  Enjoy their scent, their life, and their vitality.

Experience what it is to be a beautiful spiritual flower in a body which can contact the Earth, experience Life Force and connect with other flowering Souls.

This, then, is the true Soul Purpose.

Flower.

Live.

Breathe.

Inhale.

Experience.

Pass.

And make anew.

S: What about Soul Purposes that have been agreed with our Soul Group before incarnation?

AGs:  Again, think of these as the many petals of your individual flowering life.  They are there as suggestions and placeholders, much like the morphogenetic field.  It guides cells to grow a certain way and to create certain functions within each cell.

At the Soul level these suggestions are guidelines only.  Our Spirit Guides help us create a plan to work through certain scenarios in daily life.  Do we play them all?  Probably not.  But the energy of our Soul is incarnated in order to experience.

THAT is the primary mission.

The rest, well, all of that just encourages us to stop and smell the roses!

Getting dressed in the Akashic Records

What does getting dressed or wearing clothes have to do with the Akashic Records?

Well there are more energetic connections than you may think!

Many clients have a fascination with certain periods of history, and us humans today still continue to use modes of dress to communicate non-verbally.

• social status from King or Queen right down to a slave
• power
• sexual availability
• culture of origin
• age in life (teenage dress, for example).

As William Shakespeare once wrote in Hamlet

Clothes maketh the man

Or as we would say in modern times, the woman too!

Daily dressing results in strong energetic imprints in 5D reality

Since we dress daily, our dress habits have been recorded over and over in the fifth-dimensional reality where the Akashic Records energetically reside.

When we connect with our Records, our memories likes and dislikes of modes of dress inevitably pop up.

Often, our experiences of clothes in previous lives can influence us subconsciously with our dress modes in this life, whether we realize it or not.

Energy never lies!

So if you are drawn to a specific age and are fascinated by ideas of living there

Check out the modes of dress, it may be one of the reasons you desire to relive that time.

Also, from the perspective of difficult lives, many people have an issue with or quirks about certain types of clothing.

Perhaps you hate wearing a hat or anything around your neck (bad end of life experience).

Or, conversely, you are fascinated by certain types of antique jewelry or modes of dress.

It could be your Akashic Records influencing your choices!
